# How can we configure server-side tracking for better data accuracy?🚀

To set up server-side tracking, you need to have a server in place. If you don’t already have one, follow these steps to create it:

***To initiate the server-side setup, start by creating a server container in Google Tag Manager (GTM).***

1. Open your **GTM** account and navigate to the container you've linked with your Shopify store. Click on the three dots next to the container, then select "**Create Container**" from the options.

2. Enter a **name** for your server container, select "**Server**" from the options below, and then click the "**Create**" button in the top right corner.

3. After clicking "**Create**," a pop-up will appear. Select "**Automatically provision tagging server for Google Cloud**," then click on "**Automatically provision tagging server**." If you are setting up a Stape server, choose the alternative option instead.

4. Next, add your **billing account** and proceed to create your server.
